Why another food blog? During a recent trip to New York City with friends for a conference, we decided on another whirlwind tour of new restaurants, while simultaneously hitting up prefered spots for favorite products. Spices, Chocolates, Teas, Oils, Oh My! We carefully thought about and anxiously anticipated each adventure, and planned every square inch of our suitcases to pack our treasures.
The idea for Wanderlust Chefs started when our group of culinary friends were standing inline at a market in NYC. The aromas making our mouths water and our minds running wild with the entrees. In these delirious moments, one or more of us inevitability got the same question from other shoppers whom watched with amusement. ”What are you going to do with that?” This question has always made my head spin, and want to inquire with sheer curiosity. “If you don’t know what these things are for, then why are you standing here in line with me”?.
